Nintendo was facing inconsistent visual branding across its software campaigns, leading to a fragmented brand identity that weakened customer engagement and made it difficult to effectively promote evergreen software titles. Using the Nintendo Switch screen as the main graphic motif, we deliver Nintendo’s brand identity. By clearly showcasing the core values of Nintendo and expanding them across various media, we can communicate Nintendo’s story to consumers more effectively.

MOTION
In motion, we use the portal as a navigation tool to guide consumers, drawing inspiration from the Nintendo Switch interface on the Home screen where players select games. To enhance the connection with players, we incorporated the same sound effects, replicating the familiar Switch experience across different touchpoints.

As a result of implementing the VIS toolkit, we established a unified visual identity across Nintendo’s software campaigns, reinforcing brand recognition and making each campaign instantly recognizable across all platforms. This visual consistency improved customer engagement and increased conversion rates, particularly by aligning visuals with seasonal themes and target audience segments, such as new Switch owners.
