EDC Experience Stream
Digital Platform / Immersive Web
Designing a living digital experience for the world's largest electronic music festival.
Electric Daisy Carnival draws hundreds of thousands of attendees across multiple days of multi-sensory, large-scale experiences. The challenge was translating that energy into a digital platform that could feel equally immersive, serving both first-time visitors trying to understand what EDC is, and longtime fans wanting to relive it from a new angle.
At Hello Design, I led design on a new concept: the EDC Experience Stream. Rather than a traditional festival website, we built a mobile-first portal that curated thousands of bite-sized micro-moments, videos, photos, and interactive elements, into a dynamic, ever-changing feed. An algorithm ensured no two visits were the same, making the platform feel alive and personal rather than static and promotional.
The Experience Stream launched in 2017, turning the festival into a living digital world that extended well beyond the event itself.
