Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) is Insomniac’s flagship global festival, known for its scale, creativity, and immersive, multi-sensory experiences. The challenge was to translate that energy into a digital platform that could engage both new audiences and longtime fans.
In partnership with Insomniac, we developed a digital strategy and redesigned the EDC website around a new concept called EDC Experience Stream. The platform was designed as a mobile-first portal that offered a window into the festival world, allowing first-time visitors to experience EDC’s atmosphere and giving fans a new way to relive past moments.
The Experience Stream curated thousands of bite-sized micro-moments—videos, photos, and interactive elements—into a dynamic, ever-changing feed. Powered by an algorithm designed to ensure no two visits were the same, the platform turned the festival into a living digital experience that felt exploratory, personal, and constantly evolving.
